OK, maybe I don't get out much....

...but I was in the Barnes and Noble this morning, buying my sister's birthday present when I ran across THIS and just about freaked out!

I confess that I know nothing about the Silver Lake region of California but there is something about the drawings and the the typography of this beautiful book that made me walk across the store and pick it off the shelf. After opening the book and thumbing through the pages...I wondered a bit if the design of the interior pages was fighting with the photos themselves?...and I sat it back down like a fool. Now all I am doing is nothing but craving to flip through it's pages again. What was I thinking? Have I lost my mind?
